Another beautiful CVFM day on the lake. It was wonderful to paddle to the manoomin with Elder Gitiga Migizi, (Doug Williams) and nice to share the experience with other guests, too. The manoomin is at the emergent and flowering stage, providing shelter to small and young fish and other creature as it prepares to produce ripe life-sustaining seeds. Grateful, too, that the rain held off until we were all safely back on shore. 🙂
