Curve Lake First Nation produced the accompanying video below as a Dedication to Cileana Taylor and to raise awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls(MMIWG). Elders and leaders appealed to the community to find ways together to end violence against “our sacred life givers” – our women, as well as our children and two-spirited community members. “An action against one is an action against all”. TRC Bobcaygeon sends our best wishes and hopes to Cileana Taylor for a complete recovery and we commit to continuing education around the issue of MMIWG in our community.
