In collaboration with the Mishkodeh Centre for Indigenous Knowledge, Truth and Reconciliation Community Bobcaygeon invites you to a time of friendship and celebration with the opening of the Bobcaygeon Beach Park garden circle. This project has been four years in the planning and creation and we finally have a beautiful circle of stones surrounded by native medicinal plants. These plants were recently planted with the help of students from the Bobcaygeon Elementary School. Special thanks to the City of Kawartha Lakes 2024 50/50 Community Project Capital Fund Program.
The name of the circle will be Gdi Nuhwendimin meaning “We are related”
