Bobcaygeon’s Vibrant Village Committee of IMPACT 32 facilitated the annual PADDLE PROJECT. Local artists, community groups, businesses, artisans and community members were invited to paint and decorate wooden paddles.
All 68 of the paddles were displayed through-out the village of Bobcaygeon for tourists and community members to tour around the village, find, and enjoy.
The project ended with an online auction to raise funds to support beautification projects in the village.
Truth and Reconciliation Community – Bobcaygeon sought to collaborate with artist Tiffany Knott of Curve Lake First Nation. Tiffany also provided the art for our logo.
We think it is a beauty!
